The Wreck at Landewednack

The Wreck at Landewednack

They say Landewednack is the last place before the sea swallows you whole.

Cliffs jagged like fangs. Wind howling like an ancient curse. And somewhere beneath the crashing waves… her ship still sleeps.

They called her The Red Widow — a vessel that vanished without a trace off the Lizard coast one blood-moon night. No wreckage. No bodies. Just crimson sails spotted once at dusk, drifting silently toward Landewednack church.

Locals whispered it was no ship at all — but a vampire's final voyage.

They say she was fleeing persecution, dragging coffins in chains across the deck, salt-drenched and screaming with every gust. That her crew were bound not by ropes, but by thirst.

And that when the tide recedes just right… you can still see her, moored in shadow, waiting to rise.

But beware: if you hear bells tolling from the cliffs when no one’s around?

Don’t look back.

The Red Widow always takes one more.

🦇 Not just a vibe — it’s a legend.
